Lamy 2000 Fountain Pen

Lamy originally launched the 2000 series of writing instruments in 1966. Considered quite modern at the time in both its design and materials, it is still a very popular collection. The bodies are available in 3 different materials: "Makrolon" (a type of fiberglass reinforced polycarbonate resin) in a brushed matte black finish with stainless steel fittings, polished black grenadilla wood, and polished golden yew wood, both with palladium fittings.
The Fountain Pen is a piston operated filling system requiring bottled ink and has a 14k gold platinum-coated nib. The ballpoint pens are a click button action.
